The New American States Army Corps is one of two official military branches of the Federation of New American States. It is made up of the former US Army and Marine Corps, and comprises the government's land forces. It is significantly larger than their naval and air counterpart, the New American States Navy. It should be noted that while the NAS Army Corps is a predominantly land-based branch, there is a marine unit that functions in much the same manner as the former US Marine Corps, which works directly with the Navy.
